Use the Borders floating toolbar with Tables
Suppose the following table border is required for a document:
Berlin New York London
Country Germany USA Great Britain
River Spree Hudson Thames
Population > 3 Million Citizens > 7 Million Citizens > 6 Million Citizens
1. Place the cursor at the position in the document where the table is to be inserted.
2. Choose Insert > Table to open the Insert Table dialogue, and insert a table of the
required size, e.g. 4 columns and 3 rows.
3. Select the whole table by pressing Ctrl-A twice, then click the Borders icon on the
object bar. On the floating toolbar click the icon at top left, which means “No Border”.
